Gisselle Tamayo - Administrative Assistant
Gisselle Tamayo is our newest Administrative Assistant for the Chamber of Commerce, a young-driven asset to the Chamber who plans to contribute to the dynamic growth and tourism of Hanford, giving back to the city that raised her.
A Central Valley native, she has attended and graduated both West Hills College Lemoore with an A.A. in Social Science and California State University, Fresno with a B.A. in Psychology. Her involvement in event organization in high school laid the foundation for her future interests in event promotion and successes in higher education. During her college career, she performed administrative duties as a Research Study Assistant and fostered client relations as a Teacher's Aide at a local non-profit institution. Upon graduating, she has achieved: President's List over several semesters, the title of Summa Cum Laude, and has become a lifetime member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
Building a professional background that spans from childcare, educational research and now a focus on event planning, Gisselle's affinity for combining both psychology and business will help propel her towards developing her credentials to meet the needs and goals of the Chamber and leave a lasting impact on the community and its local businesses.
