    This year we celebrate the 130th year anniversary of our City's incorporation. Many community based organizations are partnering up to bring you a list of events for everyone in our community to take part in. We will be posting more flyers and list of events as details are confirmed, but save the dates from July 29-31st to spend time downtown with fellow Hanford-ians. Partnering agencies include the new Carnegie Museum of Kings County, Hanford Parks and Community Service, Main Street Hanford, Hanford Rotary, Hanford Breakfast Lions Club, the Kings Art Center, the Hanford Chamber of Commerce and much more as planning develops.  If you have any further questions about any details of the event please reach out through email or call our office.

    Join us downtown to kickstart the weekend of celebration with Main Street Hanford's weekly Farmer's Market!

    Main Street Hanford will be having an additional celebration recognizing Hanford's incorporation anniversary with their annual Birthday Cake Celebration during Thursday's Farmer's Market!

    The Hanford Chamber of Commerce is hosting the official Grand Opening of the new Carnegie Museum of Kings County. Please join us for the Ribbon Cutting Event and luncheon at 12:00pm with a private tour of the new museum following the Ribbon Cutting.  Purchase your tickets here before July 29th.

    Hanford Parks and Community Service will be hosting a chalk art competition on the sidewalks of Civic Park. If your child would like to enter the competition please meet them out there to be assigned a square and chalk.

    Join us on the Civic Auditorium steps to watch all three High School Drumlines perform for a friendly "battle of the bands".

    Are you ready to get out a boogie! The Hanford Chamber is hosting a Melco Dance so dust off your dancing shoes and be just to dress 50's style!! Pre-Purchase your tickets for only $5 here! Prices go up to $10 at the door. Have a large party?? Reserve a whole table of 8 so you can relax and enjoy the night comfortably too.

    Community Breakfast hosted by the Hanford Breakfast Lions Club at Civic Park.

    The Carnegie Museum of Kings County is sponsoring a Classic Transportation Exhibit taking over all of Civic Park. All vehicles on display will be from 1972 and prior. There will be more than just cars as this is an entire transportation show. It's free for all ages. Stick around or come back for more events happening on Civic Lawn all day.

    Please join us for the official ceremony hosted by the Hanford Rotary Club and the City of Hanford. Proclamations will be provided by guest officials and City Council. We will be honoring our local veterans and celebrating the 130th anniversary of Hanford at this time. All events will take place in front of the Veterans Building at Civic Park.

    • Kings County Museum at Burris Park- Veteran's history and historic locomotive exhibit (displayed at Civic Park)

    The Hanford Chamber of Commerce is hosting a beer garden in the Civic Courtyard. Come enjoy a beverage and dance to the entertainment of the Macey Blue Band!
