Despite its small population, Kings County has produced many outstanding athletes. From storied team rivalries to exemplary individual performances, they have given us a lifetime of memories and been an enduring source of community pride.
This exhibition tells the stories of these athletes through photos, trophies and game-used artifacts such as uniforms and helmets. The athletes themselves and the local schools they attended contributed many of these items, making this a true community
event.
All levels of competition are celebrated--high school, college, amateur and professional. All of the county’s major cities are included—Hanford, Lemoore, Avenal and Corcoran.
