Visalia Convention Center hosts Annual Pro-Life Fundraising Banquet Featuring Lee Strobal. Tulare-Kings Right to Life’s (TKRL) 23rd annual Making a Difference for Life Fundraising banquet is scheduled for Tuesday, September 11th, 7 p.m., at the Visalia Convention Center. This year the keynote speaker is Atheist-turned-Christian author, Lee Strobel. Lee Strobel, the former award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune, is a New York Times best-selling author of more than twenty books. Lee serves as Professor of Christian Thought at Houston Baptist University and as a Teaching Pastor at Woodlands Church in Texas. After investigating the evidence for Jesus, Lee became a Christian in 1981. In 2017, Lee’s spiritual journey was depicted in a major picture, The Case for Christ, which ranks among the top twenty faith-based films. In addition to Strobel’s message, the fundraiser will allow Tulare-Kings Right to Life to update the community on its educational and healing work through Latinos4Life, Voices for Life and The IRMA Network. Over the past year, TKRL has reached literally thousands of local residents with the truth about abortion, early human development, and healthy relationships. Sponsorship for a table of 8 are $525; individual tickets may be purchased for $70 each. For more information or to reserve your table, please call (559) 732-5000 or visit www.tkrl.org.
